With the amendments to the Law on Financing of Political Parties from 2018, 0.15 percent of the budget is not allocated for parties, although previously that percentage was 0.06 percent. Depending on the projected budget, about 5 million euros of public money are allocated for their financing, most of which, 70 percent, are for the parliamentary political parties, depending on the number of seats won in the Assembly.
